Privacy

This page explains what this website collects and why. The short version: we only keep what you choose to send us, plus visit stats that help us improve the site. We don't sell your information.

What you send us

• Newsletter. If you sign up, your email address is kept in Mailchimp so we can send you our newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Build your own week. What you type into that form comes to our inbox through Formspree.
• Donations. Gifts are handled by Donorbox. We see your name, contact details and gift. Your card details go to Donorbox's payment processor, never to us.
• Applications and registration. These happen on WaiverElectronic, which keeps the forms and waivers you fill in and shares them with us so we can run your trip safely. We keep them only as long as we need them for the trip and our records.
• Email. If you email us, your message stays in our inbox.

How we see the site being used

We use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages people read and learn how they found us.

We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session replay, so we can see where a page is confusing and fix it. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of pages and online activity. This information is also used for site optimization and fraud and security purposes. For more about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We don't use these tools to show you ads. Visit stats are kept for 14 months, and the services we use store data in the United States.

You can block or clear these cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works (a few embedded tools, like the donation form, may ask you to allow cookies).

Other services on our pages

Film previews and films load from YouTube, the Instagram and Facebook links go to Meta, and the fonts load from Google Fonts. Each of those services has its own privacy policy. The site itself is hosted on Cloudflare.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
